What we collect, why, and on what basis
If you subscribe to the newsletter
The form asks for your email address (required), your first name (optional), and a consent checkbox (required). The form also transmits the title and address of the page you subscribed from, and the page that referred you.
Purpose: sending the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time, by the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to the address above. Withdrawal does not affect what was sent before.
If you accept measurement cookies
Google Analytics 4 records the pages you view, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and technical information about your browser and device. No analytics script runs until you accept.
Purpose: understanding which pages are read, in aggregate. Legal basis: your consent, article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given through the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw it at any time through the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
If you write to us
Your email address and the content of your message, kept for 3 years after our last exchange. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you and in keeping a record of the exchange, article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Server logs
Our host records technical access logs, including IP addresses, as part of operating and securing the server. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security and availability, article 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are kept by our host, Hostinger, under its own retention policy.
Who receives your data
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

| Stay22 | Attributing a booking to this site, only if you click an affiliate link | Set by Stay22 under its own privacy policy | Set by Stay22 under its own policy |
WPConsent, which runs the cookie banner, is not a recipient: it is a plugin installed on this site, and your consent choice stays in a cookie in your own browser. Nothing about your choice is sent to its publisher.
Transfers outside the European Union
Where a recipient transfers data outside the EU or the EEA, it relies on the safeguards it publishes:
- Hostinger — European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (decision 2021/914), under its Data Processing Addendum.
- Brevo — Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures, and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for transfers to the United States.
- Google — Standard Contractual Clauses, under its Ads Data Processing Terms.
- Stay22 — set by Stay22 under its own privacy policy.
